If I receive financial aid can I get the college tuition and fees deduction on my taxes?
Is it strictly for people that pay out of pocket?
If you didn’t pay, why would you be able to "double dip" by also claiming a tax deduction??? You will be able to benefit on your taxes for eligible college costs paid by loans, but not those paid by grants or scholarships.
Where on the net can I look for financial aid for international students going to international schools?
Hi. I’m Caribbean and I’m having trouble finding financial aid, by net, to go to international universities. All I see are sites with financial aid for Americans to go study internationally and for international students to go to the U.S. Help!

it’s saturday so i cant call the financial aid office.received email statin that Im on financial aid probation?

Parents won’t pay for college and I will not qualify for any financial aid, what should I do?
So basically my mom doesn’t work while my step-dad makes around $250,000 a year. They believe it is not my step-dad’s responsibility to pay for college and I know I will not receive any financial aid. I do not want to be in $80,000 worth of debt out of college. What can I do?

What kind of financial aid can my boyfriend get?
My boyfriend is just now working on his G.E.D. He is 25, and has a crappy job moving people out of houses. He never knows when he’s gonna work (could be the next day or in 2 weeks), so he never really has any money.
He thinks that there is absolutely no way he could go to college because he can’t afford it, but there must be some kind of financial aid available!!!!!

If you are over 24, you can get almost all of your college paid for (provided you get accepted), and what doesn’t get paid for you can borrow. The first step is to apply. After you apply and get accepted, the college will walk you through the financial aid process. You can also get financial aid for going to community college, which 1) never have any acceptance requirements and 2) allow you to start taking course and building a good academic record, in turn enabling you to apply to a four-year school.
